Enamelware is a handmade process from start to finish, we always expect some variation from piece to piece, however some pieces come out a little more flawed than others and we refer to these as "seconds". All of our seconds can be used as intended and are food safe, they just have a few defects such as paint peeling, color inconsistency, small chips, etc. Please refer to the second photo to get an idea of what you can expect your seconds mug to look like.
